Hilton focuses his practice on individuals, small businesses and financial institutions in planning and litigation. He has both trial and appellate experience in an array of state and federal litigation matters including complex commercial disputes, class actions, employment litigation and other civil litigation.

He has both trial and appellate experience in an array of state and federal litigation matters including complex commercial disputes, class actions, employment litigation and other civil litigation.
Before entering the practice of law, Hilton served as a law clerk for the Honorable Aubrey Dominick from 1976-77. He was a partner in the Birmingham law firm Pritchard, McCall & Jones for 30 years before entering the private practice of law in 2007.
Hilton practices law throughout the United States and is a member in good standing of the United States Courts of Appeals for the First, Fifth, Sixth, Eighth, Ninth and Eleventh Circuits, as well as the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar and is a sustaining member of the Birmingham Bar Association.
Hilton graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama in 1974 and in 1977 received his J.D from the University of Alabama School of Law. He has obtained an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
