Brandy represents both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation. Her practice encompasses the areas of business torts, municipal law, professional liability, employment law, worker’s compensation and general tort litigation, and she practices in both state and federal courts. Brandy has experience in employment law in state and federal courts as well as trucking and manufactured housing litigation. Her clients include Covenant Transport, Inc., the City of Birmingham, Franklin Homes, Inc., the State of Alabama, Son’s Supermarket, Inc., plus many individuals.

Brandy received her Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law in 1996. She is a 1992 graduate of Auburn University, and earned a Masters of Accounting degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1996. She joined Red Mountain Law in January of 2010.
She co-authored the Title VII section of the “Defense Research Institute Form Book on Employment Law” and has successfully drafted proposed legislation. She also serves on the State of Alabama’s Governor’s Appointments Committee.
Brandy is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, Birmingham Bar Association, American Bar Association, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and Defense Research Institute. She also serves as Vice President and on the Executive Committee on the UAB National Alumni Society Board of Directors, is a member of the Seacrest Beach II Design Review Board and is active in the Walker Area Community Foundation and the Junior League of Birmingham.
